The Sage Method: Somatic Fascia Flow

A whole-body approach to fascia and nervous system regulation for therapists who want their work to feel more connected, responsive, intentional, and effective.

The Sage Method: Somatic Fascia Flow is a 16 CE hour, in-person continuing education course taught by award-winning massage therapist and NCBTMB Approved Continuing Education Provider Rebekah Sweet Reiland, LMT. The course is approved by the Florida and Louisiana Boards of Massage Therapy.

This highly hands-on class brings together fascia-informed bodywork, interoception, movement, breath, and nervous system regulation in a way that translates directly into the treatment room.

Therapists explore Swedish myofascial techniques, slow intentional engagement, rhythmic movement, gentle traction, and connected sequencing while learning how to recognize broader tension patterns and respond to the body with greater precision and awareness.

The work is fluid, thoughtful, and practical. Each technique is taught as part of a larger whole, helping therapists create sessions that move naturally from one area of the body to another while maintaining a clear therapeutic intention.

This course weaves abdominal, facial, scalp, and intraoral buccal myofascial techniques into the larger whole-body approach, helping therapists understand how these areas can influence jaw tension, breathing mechanics, fascial restriction, and broader patterns throughout the body. The emphasis stays on integration, so each technique connects naturally into the flow of a comprehensive session.

Students leave with a deeper understanding of fascia and nervous system regulation, a broader range of hands-on skills, and a more developed framework for creating sessions that feel cohesive, responsive, and deeply therapeutic.

They gain practical techniques they can begin using immediately and a stronger sense of how pacing, rhythm, movement, and contact can shape the way the body responds.

The Sage Method brings all of those pieces together into work that feels skillful, connected, and sustainable for both client and therapist.

When the nervous system feels supported, the body often has more space for meaningful change.
